Tee Ball 2 (5-6 Year Old )
For players League Age 5-6 with limited experience with coach pitch Tee Ball. A 7 year old with no experience is also eligible for tee ball 2 if rookie coach pitch seems too advanced.
Players will attempt to hit from a coach every at bat. If they miss 5 pitches, they get to complete their at bat from a tee.
Players will build on their development from Tee Ball 1 and begin learning base running concepts.
SEASON
The Spring season typically starts in early March and runs through early June.
The Fall season typically starts in early September and runs through early November.
GAMES
Each team plays 10 to 12 games per season. (6-8 games for Fall season.)
Games played during the week generally start at 6pm.
Games played on Saturday will be generally scheduled at times ranging from 9am to 5pm. Game length is typically 1 hour.
PRACTICE
Practice occurs one weekday and one weekend for three to four weeks prior to the season with some practices during the season at the manager's discretion.
UNIFORMS
CLL provides a jersey and hat, plus pants in the spring. Jerseys have names and numbers in the spring, and just numbers in the fall.
Parents must provide athletic shoes. Rubber cleats are optional.
PLAYING EQUIPMENT

TEAM
Teams usually consist of 10-12 players, one (1) volunteer manager, two (2) volunteer coaches, and one (1) volunteer team parent.

Q: Do you keep score and are there umpires?
A: No. The T-Ball league is structured to teach the fundamentals of baseball only. The games are self-umpired by the volunteer managers and coaches.
Q: Can I Manage or coach a team?
A: Yes, if positions are available. Prospective managers must complete an online application. If you would like to serve as a coach, then please note that on your child's spring online registration. All managers and coaches must be approved by the Chesterfield Little League Board of Directors.
Q: What kind of baseball is used?
A: A soft core baseball is used to prevent injury and provide for a good learning experience.
Q: Will my child get to play all the time?
A:Yes. In tee ball all players will play on the field defensively and all players will get to bat each inning.
Q: What are the volunteer requirements?
A: CLL is an all-volunteer organization so there are many ways to volunteer. Help is always needed with registration, team parenting, assisting with picture and opening night activities, helping with post-season tournaments, and working in the concession stand to name just a few of the many ways to help support CLL.
