Chesterfield Little League and 11 other leagues are part of District 5 in Virginia.  Each year our District hosts an All Stars District tournament for both baseball and softball.  The district can host divisions listed below, though CLL may not field a time in every division each year.  It will depend on number of players willing and able to play. Players MUST have played on a spring team with CLL in order to be eligible for tournament play.

District winners will have the opportunity to play at the State Tournament.  You can check the VA State LL website for up to date information. 

8/9/10 and 9/10/11 state winners will have the opportunity to play at the Tournament of State Champions. 

Major and above may proceed to the Regional tournament and then the Little League World Series.

Players are expected to commit to the team for the duration, from Districts on until the team is eliminated.

Players for district teams will be chosen through coach nominations, usually some time in May.  Parents will then need to confirm that their child is committed to the team for the duration of the season, pay the registration fee, and submit the necessary paperwork.

The following paperwork is REQUIRED for new players:
ORIGINAL birth certificate (to be returned after district staff has seen the document)

School Enrollment form (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED): littleleague.org/downloads/school-enrollment-form/ OR 3 forms of residency verification   (one from each category listed on Tournament Player Verification Form).  Please note all residency documents must be dated or enforced from February 1 from the previous year to February 1 of the current year.

Returning District Players
